Rancho Rincon Inn is a private Baja retreat on the East Cape of Baja California Sur, offering an authentic experience rooted in traditional Mexican ranchero life.
Set along the Sea of Cortez, the inn provides a serene and secluded escape. Rancho Rincon Inn is far from busy towns and crowded resorts, a place where guests can reconnect with nature, quiet surroundings, and the slower rhythm of old Baja. Designed in the style of a traditional Mexican hacienda, the property features handcrafted architecture, peaceful courtyards, spacious grounds, and personalized hospitality shaped by warmth, tradition, and genuine care.
The inn was designed specifically for private group gatherings and welcomes groups of approximately 14 to 22 guests for family vacations, retreats, weddings, diving or fishing trips, celebrations, retreats and corporate gatherings. Rather than operating as a traditional hotel, Rancho Rincón Inn offers an intimate and personalized group experience where guests can enjoy the property together at their own pace.
At the heart of the inn, surrounded by guest rooms and gathering spaces, is the property’s large solar-heated swimming pool — a natural centerpiece where guests come together to relax after a day on the water, share quiet mornings with coffee, or enjoy long Baja evenings beneath the stars.
Spread across five acres of land, with private beach frontage, the property offers a true rancho experience where the spirit of old Baja is still part of everyday life. Horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and several beloved rescue dogs share the property, creating a setting that feels authentic, grounded, and deeply connected to the land and traditions of the region.
Visitors can spend their days fishing the East Cape waters, snorkeling near Cabo Pulmo National Park, hiking desert trails, exploring Baja history and culture, horseback riding, kayaking, relaxing beside the pool, enjoying the swimmable beach or simply basking in the peace of the ranch itself.
Rancho Rincón Inn is a green, eco-conscious property designed for those seeking a more natural and restorative experience. Primarily solar powered, the inn generates approximately 57kw of energy daily and operates with fresh spring water stored in large cisterns. The property’s remote setting and minimal modern interference create a peaceful atmosphere for guests wanting to truly step away from the noise and pace of city life.

It is hard to put into words what Inn at Rincon (Rancho Rincon) means to me. I’ve had the privilege of visiting since the Inn was first opened as Christine is a dear friend. You might think I am biased because of the relationship but there is a very relaxed and welcoming vibe at the Inn. When we arrive at the gate, all the tension and stress I’ve been feeling is gone. There is a “welcome meal” for us and after settling in to very comfortable and colorful rooms, our stay begins There are visits where I don’t leave the grounds until the day we depart. Lounging by the pool, in the pool, walking on the beach, doing jigsaw puzzles and visiting and reading are enough to keep me happy. Watching the sunrise and sunset are my ideas of excitement. The food is delicious and we never go hungry. The staff is lovely.
